Establishment of Temporary Restricted Areas for Presidential Election 2023 Nomination Day
Nomination Day for the Presidential Election 2023 is on 22 August 2023 (Tuesday). The People’s Association Headquarters at 9 King George’s Avenue S(208581) will be the Nomination Centre. Nomination proceedings will commence from 11.00am.
Members of the public are advised on the following:
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (“CAAS”) will establish a Temporary Restricted Area (“TRA”) over the Nomination Centre (as shown in the Annex) on 22 August 2023 (Tuesday) from 9.00am to 1.30pm. During the stated date and time, the flying of unmanned aircraft and conduct of other aerial activities (such as kite-flying and hoisting of captive balloons) is prohibited within and into the TRA, unless authorised by CAAS.
The Police will monitor the law and order situation closely, and will not hesitate to take action against any person who is unruly or who commits any offence at the Nomination Centre.
ANNEX: TRA OVER THE NOMINATION CENTRE
The TRA boundary will be based on a 1-km radius from the main Nomination Centre (Latitude 1.3095025, Longitude 103.8598988) and will be in effect on 22 August 2023 Tuesday from 9.00am to 1.30pm.
